Gary KoreibaGary grew up in Port Huron, Michigan, the son of a Christian bookstore owner. “Singing was all I wanted to do. I fully intended to have a career in music.” And he certainly has done just that.
Gary continued his pursuit of his music in Nashville, Tennessee, where he was in town a scant six months before he got his first big break, singing background vocals for Contemporary Christian artist Russ Taff. Gary toured with Russ Taff for two years before joining another CCM artist, Kim Boyce, on the road. Shortly after he started touring with Kim, love bloomed and they were married in 1990. In addition to his work in Contemporary Christian music, Gary worked regularly as a studio background vocalist in Nashville on country, pop and gospel albums. He has been featured in the Gaither Homecoming videos and has sung on Gaither albums. Gary was also a sought-after commercial jingle singer and sang on jingles for Ford, Pontiac, Cellular One and other companies. Gary and Kim are the parents of two boys, Gary Lee II and Alexander. “We realized several years ago that we wanted to provide a stable environment for our children, and traveling extensively to sing would not allow us to do so. Joining Pierce Arrow in 2000 has given me the opportunity to continue to sing while being able to be home every night with my boys.” E-Mail Gary | |
